Eva M. (Beaton) Lepine, age 87, of East Bridgewater, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, March 9, 2013 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was the loving wife for 62 years of George J. Lepine Jr. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Colin F. and Florence (McCarthy) Beaton. Eva was a graduate of St. Patrick’s School. While a resident of West Bridgewater for 20 years, she was active in St. Ann’s Church, where she was a CCD teacher and involved with the CYO. She was also active with the West Bridgewater Boosters. In 1982 she and her husband retired to Hallandale, FL and then moved to East Bridgewater in 2007. Eva’s time spent with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment, and she also enjoyed bowling, Bingo, Bocci, both College and Professional football and time at Foxwoods. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Eva M. Santilli of East Bridgewater, Florrie L. Davidson and her husband Larry of East Bridgewater, George J. Lepine III of Davie, FL and Elizabeth A. Dupre and her husband Raymond of Cumberland, RI; her grandchildren Amy (Anderson) Pina, Paul Anderson II, Lissa Davidson, Larry J. Davidson and his wife Emily, George J. Lepine IV and Ashley Dupre; four great grandchildren Erik and Madison Pina, and Thomas and Lilah Davidson; a sister Joan Dias of Wareham and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Colin Beaton, Rose Rossi, Lillian Toole and Angus Beaton. Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-7pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 8am for a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, East Bridgewater at 9am. Burial in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
