Doris A. (Leone) Naugle, wife of the late Oscar L. Naugle, passed away on Monday afternoon, May 15, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness. Born in Wakefield on March 9, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Vito and Margaret (De Fazio) Leone. Doris was kindred spirit, always thoughtful and kind, and loved by all who knew her. She lived a long and fulfilling life doing things her way. Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Judith Naugle of Portsmouth, R.I., and her brother, Joseph Leone of Carlsbad, Calif. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Leone, formerly of Haverhill; and her three sisters, Pauline Washburn, Sylvia and Vicky Cisek, all formerly of New Jersey. Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Doris’ life at Our Lady of Hope Church, 54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich on Saturday, May 20th at 9 a.m. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted and burial following the service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beverly Hospital Philanthropy Office, 85 Herrick St. Beverly, MA 01915, in memory of Doris Naugle to support patient care.
